Soaker Hose - Advantages

Soaker Hose - Tips
- To prolong the life of your porous hose you should
- Protect from strong sunlight - bury hose under mulch
- Ideally bury to a depth of 30 - 40cm
- Keep porous hose protected from frost - bring indoors in the Winter months
- Also note that if your water source is heavy in lime, you should either use an in-line filter on the hose or better again, only use water that has gone through a water softener to help prevent clogging of hose pipe
Note on Soaker Hose
- To join 2 soaker hoses together
- You should remove one of the 25mm male 'Quick Fix' connectors
- And replace it with a hose repair joiner / extender
