Red Onion Sets - Sowing Instructions
- Red Baron is a end of summer/autumn onion, sow in Spring
- These will develop in Spring & will be ready to harvest end of Summer
- Sowing location: Light, sandy soil in an open, sunny site
- Spacing: Rows 25cm apart with sets spaced 5cm apart
- Depth: Place sets, pointed end up, 3cm below the soil surface
- The tip of the set should lie just under the soil
