Strimmer Cord - How to Load

  • Cut 2 identical lengths of line to the length you desire. (Use 2.5m lengths)
  • Note the direction the cord should be wound in strimmer head
  • Insert both strimmer cords into eye or hook inside strimmer head and wind each cord in the (same) direction as noted on strimmer head
  • Ensure to hold cord tightly as otherwise it can recoil & become loose
  • Once fully wound, feed the cord ends through the loop, eye or hole on the strimmer head
  • Reattach the strimmer head to the strimmer shaft
  • Can take practice, but when done properly will give great results

Strimmer Cord - Tips

  • To maximise the product's performance
  • Only add approximately (2x) 2.5m lengths of strimmer line at a time
  • Make sure you load the line in the correct & stated direction
  • When running the strimmer, occasionally tap the strimmer head on the ground to feed the strimmer cord
  • When cutting
    • Cut away at the edge of weeds & grass rather than pushing right into the middle of them
    • Use wide sweeping motions, cutting away 10cm of grass / brush at a time
