Strimmer Cord - How to Load
- Cut 2 identical lengths of line to the length you desire. (Use 2.5m lengths)
- Note the direction the cord should be wound in strimmer head
- Insert both strimmer cords into eye or hook inside strimmer head and wind each cord in the (same) direction as noted on strimmer head
- Ensure to hold cord tightly as otherwise it can recoil & become loose
- Once fully wound, feed the cord ends through the loop, eye or hole on the strimmer head
- Reattach the strimmer head to the strimmer shaft
- Can take practice, but when done properly will give great results
Strimmer Cord - Tips
- To maximise the product's performance
- Only add approximately (2x) 2.5m lengths of strimmer line at a time
- Make sure you load the line in the correct & stated direction
- When running the strimmer, occasionally tap the strimmer head on the ground to feed the strimmer cord
- When cutting
- Cut away at the edge of weeds & grass rather than pushing right into the middle of them
- Use wide sweeping motions, cutting away 10cm of grass / brush at a time
