Sunflower Seeds - Sowing Tips
- Sow:
- Indoors: March to May
- Outdoors: March to May
- Water well
- For best results place in cold frame or cool greenhouse
- Sow two seeds together
- Flowers: June to Sept
- Seedlings usually appear in 2-3 weeks
- Remove the weaker plants
- Plant out: Avoiding frosts (May to June), 40cm apart
- Feed before flowering begins for giant growth
- Grow in full sun
