Ordered twice from The Garden Shop no problems first time but second paid the express delivery charge of €7.95 , I didn't order till 8pm on the tuesday and on Thursday at 4pm had to ring the courtiers whom was DPD stated on my email invoice, they informed me they don't charge for the next day delivery so the payment went to The Garden Shop, why was my first order delivered by 8pm and second had to ring looking for it, I understand it Christmas busy time of year but I paid for rapid express. [STAFF NOTE] Sorry you had a problem with your delivery. Express shipping means we guarantee to ship your parcel on the same working day as long as it is placed before 4pm. By choosing our express shipping service your order is pushed to the front of the queue, then packed & shipped right away. Our couriers have a 98% sucess rate on next day deliveries. All this is explained under the delivery information tab on each product. The reason our DPD delivery option is more expensive is that 95% of our orders are chosen by customers to be sent with Fastway couriers (presumably because it's much cheaper) and as such, we cannot get bulk discounts on shipping labels from DPD becasue we just don't have the volume of deliveries to qualify for cheaper labels. The price you paid for DPD delivery jumps your order to the top of the packing queue as stated above and also covers our staff who have to physically deliver the parcel to the nearest DPD depot again because we do not have the volumes of deliveries with DPD, they don't pick up from us. I hope that explains it as best as we can. Again apologies for the delay in your order.

Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Wednesday. Tree was in great shape, exactly like the photo; which was a relief. Delighted with the service. Thank you!

I received my order at 9:25am. Excellent product, competitive price and delivery came earlier than expected. I am impressed. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is poor service and 10 is excellent service, you deserve 10. Thank you very much. I recommend The Garden Shop .
