These ties are very robust and simple to use. I used this size to anchor some 50 new fruit trees to stakes made from 2"x2" stakes and there has been no movement at all around the roots, despite the best efforts of all the storms we've had this winter. They also have a number of nail holes so they can be made completely secure around the post and the tree.
