Strimmer Line - Uses

  • This strimmer line can be used with any standard petrol strimmer / brushcutter / trimmer
  • The strimmer line is designed to work with the following
  • Oleo Mac, Black & Decker, Bolens, Echo, Hoffco, Honda, Husqvarna, John Deeres, Kawasaki, Makita, Mitsubishi, Pyobi, Sears, Snapper, Stihl, Tanaka & many more

Strimmer Line - Advantages

  • Continuous roll allows for non stop strimming if loaded properly
  • 2mm diameter gives a medium duty strength without reducing the power & speed of your strimmer
  • Will cut through grass & other light weeds with ease
  • The 'tap feed' system of strimmers allows continuous feeding of the strimmer line while cutting

Strimmer Line - How to Load

  • Cut 2 identical lengths of line to the length you desire. (Use 2.5m lengths)
  • Note in strimmer head, the direction in the line should be wound
  • Insert both strimmer lines into eye or hook inside strimmer head and wind each line in the (same) direction as noted on strimmer head
  • Ensure to hold line tightly as otherwise it can recoil & become loose
  • Once fully wound, feed the line ends through the loop, eye or hole on the strimmer head
  • Reattach the strimmer head to the strimmer shaft
  • Can take practice, but when done properly will give great results

Strimmer Line - Tips

  • To maximise the product's performance
  • Only add approximately (2x) 2.5m lengths of strimmer line at a time
  • Make sure you load the line in the correct & stated direction
  • When running the strimmer, occasionally tap the strimmer head on the ground to feed the strimmer line
  • When cutting
    • Cut away at the edge of weeds & grass rather than pushing right into the middle of them
    • Use wide sweeping motions, cutting away 10cm of grass / brush at a time
