- Plant bulbs in a number of ways

- Always best to group tulips together for best impact
- Can also plant them in drifts, around trees, along paths or in containers
Tulip Bulbs - How to Sow

- Choose planting location
- To prepare planting hole
- Use a garden hand trowel, dibber or bulb planter
- Depth: Approx 15cm deep
- Spacing: 8cm to 10cm apart
- Soil: Fertile and well draining, if not well draining then add a small amount of sand
- Fill in hole with soil
- Water bulbs in well
- Feed with poultry manure or liquid feed once foliage appears
- Cut back foliage once flowering has passed and leaves have wilted
- Lift, clean, dry and store bulbs
