Water Butt Linking Kit - Uses
- Allows you Join two water butts together
- Increase water storage & harvesting capacity
- Allows you to run 2 water butts off the one down pipe & roof
- If you feel your roof is sufficiently large by comparison to your water butt
- Could join more water butts together using same method in a daisy chain
Water Butt Linking Kit - How to Install
- Ensure both water butts are facing the right way before starting
- Ensure both butts are in more than 39cm apart
- Ensure water butts are level with each other
- Measure 25cm down from the top of each water butt
- Drill a 25mm (Approx) diameter hole (A hole saw would be best for this)
- Caution: Do not use an electric drill if the butt contains water
- Join the water butts together with the supplied hose
- Push the connector through the washer from the inside of each butt
- Next, tighten the nut outside to form a seal
