Wood Glue - How to Use
- Prepare Surface
- All surfaces need to be clean before applying glue
- Remove any dust from surfaces
- Shinny surfaces should be roughed up to allow glue to grip the surface
- Lightly wet the surface area after cleaning
- This can be done with a water sprayer or damp cloth
- Applying Glue
- Evenly apply glue to surface
- Don't over apply as this glue expands once applied
- Ideally use a disposable brush to spread the glue
- Clamping
- To ensure a solid fix, clamp the objects together to ensure good contact
- Clamp objects for 60 - 120 minutes
- Allow 24 hours for full drying process to complete
Wood Glue - Care
- Always wear gloves when using glue
- To remove glue from skin, first try using a dry towel or paper towel
- Next wash skin with cold soapy water
- An exfoliator will help remove any remaining glue
- Take care & store glue away from pets & dogs in particular
- If ingested by your pet consult a vet immediately
