Bee House - Uses

Bee House - Where to Locate

  • Choose a sunny location
  • With protection from wind & rain
  • Warmth is important for the offspring
  • Ensure bee house is positioned at a height of 1.5 to 2m
  • Choose a south facing site
  • Ensure the entrance is the front side can be easily seen by the insects
  • Plant native plants, herbs, blossoming flowers, shrubs & trees nearby

Excellent quality and just need to sort out the best place to put it. South facing, sunny spot. Bees seem to prefer the kitchen window sill. Perhaps this will persuade them to move! Hopefully next year will be able to report an increase in the bee population.
