Aim of Course
- Learn all about growing Winter vegetables in Ireland
- The aim of this course is to help with the production of homegrown vegetables
- To address the common problems that can occur in the garden and to provide solutions to these issues
- To teach the benefits of organically grown as opposed to non-organically grown food
- To explain the importance of what kind of soil is used and how to prepare the soil before seeding
- Growing is great for reducing stress levels and this will be seen during this course

Course Content
- Introduction
- Going through what we will be sowing
- Setting up the workstation
- Getting tools and seeds ready for planting
- Planting the seeds such as Ruby Chard, Corn Salad, Winter Lettuce, Kale, Leaf Beat (Spinach)
- Understanding the watering of the seeds
- How and when is best for watering salads
- Question time
