- Keep compost moist at all times
- Ideally water 2 or 3 times a week

- Do not allow the soil get overly wet
Feeding
- Start feeding once the seedlings are 2 weeks old
- Apply a liquid feed to the seedlings each time you water
Transplanting
- Take care when transplanting carrot seedlings - It is very important to minimise root disturbance
- Would be best to sow the carrot seeds directly in the ground
- Start transplanting seedlings when they are large enough
- Generally mid April is a good time to start
- Once your seedlings are large enough to handle & the weather is suitably warm
- Transplant into prepared vegetable plot
- Spacing, depth & specific soil conditions vary depending on vegetable
